Street Trash Double feature

The original melty classic from 87 and the goopy new reimagining

Me and Boo have always been Street Trash, but are we on board for a reimagining of the 87 cult melty classic. Is the original even worth watching? or is it a mess that deserves to be flushed down the toilet? So I watched both back to back to find out.

I also watched the 2006 20 year anniversary documentary “The Meltdown Memoirs”. Which I didn’t go to much into detail on the show but, highly recommended.

On the way we sidetrack into a bunch of social issues that blight the world today, even doing a little bit of politics… the movies made us think.

STREET TRASH!!!

Lightbulb Film Distribution have today announced that Street Trash, directed by Ryan Kruger, will be released in UK cinemas from January 10.

The feature is a reimagining of the 1987 cult horror-comedy of the same name. Kruger previously directed Fried Barry.

A group of misfits must fight for survival when they discover a plot to exterminate every homeless person in the city.

TotalCultZone presents....Another movie review podcast? Yeah, I guess so. I do mix it up a bit however by covering new, old, cult, forgotten, unknown, good, bad and ugly movies... Usually all in the same episode. While I will touch upon the popular films of the day, I'll also try my hardest to introduce you to something you didn't know about. It might be a good thing you didn't know about it, but that's a different story entirely.
